Adelaida manages Open Symbology for Asia ex-Northeast Asia. She lobbies for regulators, financial institutions, and exchanges to adopt Open Symbology, an open standard that will allow all market players to speak the same language when communicating about financial instruments.
Adelaida and her team also actively participates in industry conversations around Symbology and reference data - with ISDA, within the FIX community and with recent work by CPMI-IOSCO around coming up with an industry standard for identifying derivatives. To this effect, Adelaida is part of the International Standards Organization (ISO) TC68, the technical committee on Financial Standards. More specifically, she is now the nominated member for Singapore to the proposed Reference Data sub-committee within the TC68.
Erling Agoey is a researcher who has a passion for languages and translation.
Gaining a Masters' Degree in East Asian Studies from the University of Oslo, his experiences range from academic to diplomatic fields, such as but not limited to the cultural section at the Norwegian Embassy in Beijing. His current projects include translating classical Chinese-language novels as well as writing his books.
